Product Specifications
Printed Backdrops:
  • High quality, durable anti-curl vinyl.
  • Waterproof and durable, with a low sheen finish. Comes up to 150cm wide.
  • Easy to clean, easy to store.
  • Designed and made in New Zealand.
  • Images are authentic surfaces. Most are photographed by Catherine Main herself and all are printed in high resolution (300dpi) with an amazing textured and 3D effect. 
  • The integral blackout allows them to be hung as a background, without light coming through, so you do not have to deal with unnecessary shadows and distractions in your photos.
  • Colour Representation: Every effort is made to ensure that all our product imagery is as accurate as possible. Due to colour/resolution settings on electronic devices, the colour representation may differ slightly from the physical product. The colour may differ slightly between print runs due to the organic nature of printing.
  • For printing larger than 100cm wide an alternative stock may be used (see below).

 
Large Backdrops (up to 3m wide):

  • We have PVC (420- 440gsm), or PVC-free material (400gsm) with  a stiffer feel, in a range of block colours, both provide a durable, matte background for portrait photography.
  • Custom designs can be printed on the PVC.

Props:

  • All props are made by local NZ companies and artisans.

    We ship world wide. Backdrops are secured in protective mailing tubes.

    Free standard shipping is applied at checkout for all New Zealand orders over $140 and Australian orders over $200 AUD.

    Climate Commitment

    For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Read more about our climate commitment.

    Where possible we aim to reuse packaging, saving it from landfill.

     

    Dispatch Timeframe

    Your order is processed once payment is received. We aim to ship within 48hrs.

    Backdrops are printed in small batches and checked individually. Please allow additional time if your choice is not in stock (indicated on the product page when you click the size/option). Couriers are currently taking 2-4 days to deliver.

    Some props are made to order. Production time varies. We will let you know when to expect your order.

    Returns

    We have a 14-day return policy for NZ customers only, which means you have 14 daysafter receiving your item to request a return. The only cost to you is the shipping.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    Some substances such as strong coloured sauces/food and make up may stain the vinyl so please take care of your backdrop and do a test patch before use.

    Damages and issues
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so we can make it right as soon as possible. 

    *For items longer than 1.5m we are unable to accept liability after 7 days of receipt of goods, in line with the freight company policy.

    Refunds
    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved you will be refunded via your original payment method.  

    If a refund is requested prior to printing being done, it may be minus an admin fee depending on design work completed.
